Smart Link Mapper (SLM) Applications for OTDR Testing

Supports OTDR testing for FTTA, FTTH, and fiber optic cable systems, displaying fiber link events (OTDR events) in a map-based format with icons, and providing instant Pass/Fail results. This helps make OTDR interpretation and analysis easier, faster, and more intuitive.

Smart Link Mapper (SLM) Intelligent Optical Software Application

The Smart Link Mapper (SLM) application enables technicians to operate OTDR instruments more efficiently, without requiring deep expertise or manual interpretation of OTDR traces.

Each event is displayed as an icon, allowing users to visualize the entire fiber link structure in a schematic format known as SmartLink. SLM can also fully correlate results back to the original OTDR trace, as required by experts for detailed analysis.

By simplifying OTDR testing workflows and improving operational efficiency, SLM provides four dedicated OTDR application types tailored to different network environments.

For more details on each application (FTTA-SLM, FTTH-SLM, and Cable-SLM), please refer to the Options tab at the top of the page.
